why buy toys

Why do we buy toys? If you'll look at the picture closely- Matthew has a ton of toys on the left, but what is he playing with? The handle on our china cabinet!! He also loves paper and pens-- maybe I should shop at office depot instead of babies r us!

Matthew's 9 month check-up

Today, Matthew had his 9 month check-up (I can't believe he's already that old!). He's now an official 18 and a half pounds, and 28 inches long. The doctor said he's looking great, and we can begin to give him finger foods-- which will definitely be interesting!

We've joined the blog world!

Hello! I finally broke down today and started a blog-- mostly for friends and family to see how quickly Matthew is growing up-- maybe I'll be more disciplined about updating this blog than I have about sending pics by email!
