for those of you who are curious what I do (besides being a mommy)....

The first Sunday in December was our annual Children's Christmas musical. This weekend is all musical-- set up, dress rehearsal, pure craziness! But everything went well, and Brett and I got home Sunday evening and ordered a pizza at 9:30 at night to celebrate! Here's a pic of the kids =)

Day at the trains

Brett, Matthew and I went to Northpark on Monday for a fun day of shopping, and checking out the cool trains! Matthew was fascinated and kept looking at everything around him-- it was really neat!

My two handsome guys (it'll be 3 handsome guys in less than 4 months!)

Baby Jesus has been washed!

That's right-- Matthew is fascinated with the dishwasher, and loves carrying baby Jesus from our nativity set around the house. So when you combine the two, look what happens!

I was emptying the dishwasher yesterday, and found Matthew's little gift!

You can tell what happens to the stain and varnish when it's thrown in the dishwasher!

The culprit =)

It's official! we're having a.....

We're having a boy! We found out tonight and announced it with a few close friends and family. 2 Boys! I hope they'll grow up to be best friends. Now we're going to begin thinking of names-- if you have any suggestions, let me know!

a great weekend

Brett and I left Matthew with Nana and Grandpa this weekend and had a weekend all to ourselves. Besides preteen camp (which doesn't count, because we gave up one baby for 80 preteens), this is the first time we've had a weekend to ourselves since Matthew was born!!! Way overdue. I started Friday with getting a manicure and pedicure at coldwater creek spa, and then picked Brett up from work. We stayed at the Omni Mandalay all weekend, and had a great time hanging out, eating, shopping, having breakfast at the arboretum, and then he took me to the symphony Saturday night-- all Disney music! We had a wonderful time =).

Fall Festival

I have a few pics to post from our fall festival last week. (thanks to Leann!) Our camera is broken, and we bought an $8 one at Walgreen's that I haven't developed yet. Matthew went as a pirate this year (I called him my pirate baby when I was pregnant with him). Brett wanted Star Wars again, but conceded because we did Yoda last year!

our day at the fair and arboretum

This fall has definitely been fun with Matthew! We've been to the arboretum a few times, and went to the fair a couple weeks ago as well. Here are some pics from our outings =)

announcing baby jelly bean!

Brett and I are so excited to announce that Matthew's going to be a big brother this April! I'm now 12 weeks along, and things are going well so far. Below is my sonagram at 8 weeks, and at my appointment this week, we're going to hear the baby's heartbeat! The "official" due date is April 3rd. Just a little more than 6 months, and we'll have a new addition to Team Tooley =)

just cute!

Matthew's first stairs

A few weeks ago, we were at a surprise b-day party, and Matthew was absolutely fascinated with the stairs-- he went up them 3 times!

Matthew looses his mullet

I apologize if there are any mullet fans out there..... Well, I never thought I'd say this-- my son had a mullet! I knew the back of his hair was getting long, but it wasn't until he was taking a bath that I noticed HOW long it had gotten. So right then and there, Brett held Matthew, and I cut the mullet-part off. It looks way better!

new pics!

tt

Long time no write! Matthew is now 13 months olds (which I can't believe!) Matthew is now a pro at turning the TV in our bedroom on, and he's also figured out the volume button-- he can make it go to deafening sounds in 3 seconds flat! We're getting close to walking on his own, but he's getting really good at walking with his little toy lion walker. He's getting more and more fun everyday-- with everything he's exploring and getting into (putting his hand in the toilet, eating dirt... all that fun boy stuff!)

3 years

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 6, Brett and I have been married for 3 years-- can you believe it! The last 3 years have been full of lots of joyful times, and some sad times, but I couldn't imagine a more wonderful man to be married to through all of it. I love you Brett, and look forward to 70 more! (that will make us really, really, old.....)
Here are some pics from our wedding:

Spaghetti Night

Matthew, aka Beethoven

I think these explain themselves-- he had the best time!

our vacation and andrew's wedding

After my days in Sigma Alpha, you'd think I'd be a master picture taker-- but after we got home on Thursday, I realized I hadn't taken that many-- here are a few highlights from our trip =)

doesn't Matthew look cool? =) He did great at the wedding- didn't scream at all! Aunt Kay and Aunt Cheryl just fed him cheerios under-cover

Matthew trying out his new floatie!

Brett and Erin on our date night in San Antonio

we tried to go see a movie afterward, but everything was sold out! Didn't know San Antoino had greek roots though....

with Nana and Grandpa-- they were wonderful babysitters in SA- giving Brett and I a little break!

Matthew's 1st bday

Matthew is officially 1 now! I really can't believe where the year has gone-- but it has, and our baby is about to enter the toddling world. We had a get-together with a few friends last Friday evening-- and Matthew was definitely in fine form! He ate every crumb of his cupcake-- he'd spill a crumb in his lap and find it, because it was so good! We were cracking up at how excited he was at this new-found sweet!

Birthday time!

Here are the cupcakes we enjoyed-- I actually busted out my cake decorating stuff!
