a great weekend

Brett and I left Matthew with Nana and Grandpa this weekend and had a weekend all to ourselves. Besides preteen camp (which doesn't count, because we gave up one baby for 80 preteens), this is the first time we've had a weekend to ourselves since Matthew was born!!! Way overdue. I started Friday with getting a manicure and pedicure at coldwater creek spa, and then picked Brett up from work. We stayed at the Omni Mandalay all weekend, and had a great time hanging out, eating, shopping, having breakfast at the arboretum, and then he took me to the symphony Saturday night-- all Disney music! We had a wonderful time =).

Fall Festival

I have a few pics to post from our fall festival last week. (thanks to Leann!) Our camera is broken, and we bought an $8 one at Walgreen's that I haven't developed yet. Matthew went as a pirate this year (I called him my pirate baby when I was pregnant with him). Brett wanted Star Wars again, but conceded because we did Yoda last year!

our day at the fair and arboretum

This fall has definitely been fun with Matthew! We've been to the arboretum a few times, and went to the fair a couple weeks ago as well. Here are some pics from our outings =)

announcing baby jelly bean!

Brett and I are so excited to announce that Matthew's going to be a big brother this April! I'm now 12 weeks along, and things are going well so far. Below is my sonagram at 8 weeks, and at my appointment this week, we're going to hear the baby's heartbeat! The "official" due date is April 3rd. Just a little more than 6 months, and we'll have a new addition to Team Tooley =)

just cute!

Matthew's first stairs

A few weeks ago, we were at a surprise b-day party, and Matthew was absolutely fascinated with the stairs-- he went up them 3 times!

Matthew looses his mullet

I apologize if there are any mullet fans out there..... Well, I never thought I'd say this-- my son had a mullet! I knew the back of his hair was getting long, but it wasn't until he was taking a bath that I noticed HOW long it had gotten. So right then and there, Brett held Matthew, and I cut the mullet-part off. It looks way better!
